Cardboard
Smoother
Ruler
Ribbon or Twine
Sangallo Grey vinyl
Midnight Navy Blue vinyl

1. Cut a piece of card to the size of pocket you’d like to make (eg 20cm x 10cm).

2. Cover it with your chosen design of vinyl.

3. To make the pocket, measure and cut another piece of vinyl to fit the lower half of the covered card (make it around 1cm wider than the card so there is enough give to make the pocket shape).

4. Softly score a 0.5cm line around the bottom and sides (ensuring you don’t cut through to the vinyl itself) and remove the narrow strips of backing paper to reveal 3 sticky strips around the edges (the rest of the backing stays in place).

5. Gently stick the 3 sticky strips to the bottom section of the card (placing your fingers behind can help form the shape of the pocket).

6. Cut a contrasting strip of vinyl to cover the top edge of the pocket and stick into place. Hole punch the top and thread through some ribbon or twine for hanging.
